These little wooden beauties were made for me by my daughter as a birthday gift. I love the knots and the grain on them, and the fact that each one is different. She made them from short off cuts on a lathe and using a chisel. We’re a crafty sort of family and can turn our hands to making most things; we’ve not had handmade wooden eggcups before however. They’ve been accidentally dropped, they’ve been left in the washing up bowl for hours, they’ve been blathered up with egg as you would expect. They still look great. The fact that they also make an interesting photo is a bonus.
Lovely The reflections really enhance the wood grain.

She made a good job of those. Did she boil you up a couple of eggs to go in them?

Unfortunately I had to boil my own – daughter lives away … thanks for commenting.
