It’s been so warm today I set these outside to start doing their thing ….

Each of these demi-johns contains the beginnings of wine made from various blackberry pickings in the wild field behind our house. It always amazes me that berries from different bushes create different colours of wine, and the tastes differ too.

Hopefully, we will be enjoying a glass of blackberry wine by Christmas time.
